I don't know whether it's because I'm English, our self depracating humour or years of Monty Python but I have a strange affection for the Fairey Gannet. This much maligned bird is the peak of years of experimentation at Fairey to produce butt ugly birds. Here I hope to inform of the oft forgot utility of this most wonderful example of British engineering
